PS You could not lose me as a friend by writing that story.

I know who I was, and I'm older and different-if-not-wiser now. I would not do the same things again, in the same ways.

One of the weirdest conversations I /ever/ had was with Randy at Glen Linn, where we finally hammered out a lot of stuff. He was, I think, surprised at how willing I was to talk about what I/we did wrong. He did a little of the same, and we were humbly and honest with each other.

And EVERYONE that loved EITHER of us walked around us in a 30 foot circle as they went from place to place - worried, but glad that we talked so openly and so well.

I felt very different after that conversation was over.
