Yeah -- the first and most important thing I learned about hanging around in Enchanted Ground and the like is that it *isn't* about being able to wax rhetorically about your persona, it's about *editing* what you talk about, to focus on appropriate topics.

(And it's useful to remember that most *important* aspects of Life haven't really changed significantly -- so it's not hard to talk about much of what is going on in your life so long as you keep it conceptual and avoid the fine details.)

I haven't gotten nearly as much practice in this stuff since Le Poulet Gauche stopped. Hmm; need to think about opportunities...
