I suspect they're lying to me about the claim that I'm currently on the Free plan. I would bet that, during the trial, I'm secretly upgraded to a higher level, and once the trial is over, they'll tell me I can't use this Zap unless I pay them a fortune.
That's correct, and they say as much in some places (but not others).
Zapier's free account does seem to be sufficient to replicate the behavior of LJ's cross-posting to FB, at least, so I'm currently trying to use it that way. But at least they have a personal-use plan. The alternatives I've found get into the "only makes sense for business" price-range immediately. (I used to use NetworkedBlogs, but they've migrated their syndication feature to a paid-only service.)
