All good suggestions, although some of them aren't feasible without significant changes to the house itself. (Eg, the server can't go into the basement until I rewire so that it can get a proper Internet connection down there. And the AC is, sadly, currently zoned pretty broadly -- I'd like to fix that eventually, but that has to wait until we have the money to do so...)
