*Sigh*. Okay, that tea pitcher is *not* Pyrex, despite having worked okay for the first batch of tea. (Sorry: "was" not Pyrex...)

True, but by and large you can pour hot water into Pyrex without disaster. (And not, as I was reminded today, into cheap glass.)

At least, I certainly hope so: I just put the next batch of tea up, in the smaller-but-really-Pyrex-I-checked-this-time pitcher...
