Random thought, upon reading this entry: it seems to me that you're fulfilling a number of different needs in there:
- Stories (comic books, books, audiobooks, video)
- Learning (magazines, audio courses)
- The World at Large (magazines, LiveJournal)
- Contact w/friends (LiveJournal)

So: lots of media, but lots of benefit (of varied types) derived from going through it all. :-)
