I actually like green beans more than I do carrots...

So do I, actually--it's just that in this particular application, the green veggies cited seemed to me a bit incongruous (OTOH, I love all the above veggies in a minestrone or a vegetable soup; I guess I just have a flaky aesthetic sense where cooking is concerned).
