So far, I haven't even found a decent manual for people who *do* think Microsoftish. I mean, I have a *lot* of Windows and .NET experience, and I still find the design of Sharepoint arbitrary and strange. My best guess is that it's one of those Microsoft "organic design" problems, where the product grew and grew, so that it's now being used for purposes far beyond its original intent.

But I'll keep looking, and give a yell if I find one. There's a book available on Safari that purports to be a good one on how to build apps on Sharepoint -- we'll see if that's true...
