Yeah, not so much. The chills hit around when I went to bed, and I am still feeling astonishingly craptastic now. I am giving myself a rare sick day from work. (Yes, I'm still checking Slack and email occasionally, but that's about it.)

Could be worse: it's still not nearly as bad as getting the actual flu. Really, it's remarkably like Day 3 of the flu -- remarkably exhausted and brain-dead, but I'm actually capable of getting out of my chair, and even standing for ten whole minutes.

And on the bright side, I can't do any of my high-stress projects today, so I'm going to "enjoy" just sitting and reading comic books, which I haven't done for more than an hour in who-knows-how-long...

Yeah, my flu shot that I got on Friday flattened me through most of the weekend and on into Monday and early Tuesday. So if that's the flu that's going to be making the rounds, I am really, really glad I got the vaccine.

I had two days of (moderate) symptoms too; sympathies. I wonder if they somehow made it extra strong this year or something...

This is such an individualistic thing. We had no effects at all. I hope they gave us the right shot...

I'll vouch that I had almost no symptoms at all as well --just a very mild bit of ache in my arm where the shot was. So I think it's just that different people react very differently

Also no effects from my flu shot, unless you count the big ol' bruise.
