Okay, Google Ads is also a good source of unintended amusement...

So I just noticed that the sponsored ad in Gmail for me right now is for "www.yourbadhabits.com" -- "Learn How to Quickly and Easily Stop Condescending to People". Which I originally wrote off as simply a non-sequiteur, until I realized it was on a conversation about Girl Genius...

This showed up matched with one of my LJ-comment threads (which go to gmail). I'm wondering if they're cueing on keywords or if they've actually measuring tone... ;)

I was having a conversation about a samhain ritual and I got a slew of Vote for the Republicans, Get email from Ann Coulter, Read Bush's Blog stuff.

If they are clueing off the paganism, do they really think google ads are going to persuade me to vote for those wackjobs?
