LJ State

A bunch of you have undoubtedly noticed this already (from my remarkably tardy comments), but just FYI: I am *way* behind on LJ, even by my usually lax standards. Work is keeping me super-busy, and I've got a lot of irons in the fire at home, so there just isn't much time to read. Even working strictly on my Crucial Catch-up Filter, I'm still about eight days behind right now.

So if there's anything important going on that I should know about, please contact me directly via email, phone or IM. Thanks!

Nothing important on my end, but I thought I would let you know that "Ancient Board Games in Perspective" has finally been printed. I've already received my copy, so I know that this time it is real :) Barnes and Noble has the best price I've seen.

Not really. But as I sit here at work, I see a bit of an opportunity for cross pollination.

I've a team here that is working its way into agile processes - I'm being sent for Scrum Master training next month (not that we're going to be doing full-fledged scrum, but you take the agile training you can get). You have a team that's recently started down that road as well.

Methinks some talking around that might prove fruitful...
