Low Company and video-watching tomorrow -- opinions on what to watch?

As I just posted to the [livejournal.com profile] carolingia community, we'll be having gaming at my place tomorrow. In the evening, I'd like to do a movie night -- I haven't run one in far too long, and miss doing it.

To that end, I'm looking for opinions about what to put on. Doesn't have to be SCA related -- indeed, one of the things I'm contemplating is a few episodes of The Prisoner, having discovered that the younger half of the Barony mostly hasn't seen it. But we have lots of options, including some movies that we've bought that I haven't seen yet (eg, Mirrormask, Adaptation, Good Night and Good Luck, Bubba Ho-Tep, Neverwhere), and lots more. So if there's anything you've been dying to see, give a yell.

Anyway, y'all come by, for the gaming, the movies, or both. (If you're only free for part of the day, come then -- this isn't a big heavily-structured deal.) We'll be gaming from 3-6pm, then pizza, then a movie or two...

speaing of games

Can you do me a favor... since you know a lot of gamers and such.

And I cant answer back to the EK list, only read it due to my own silliness of email issues.

I have a game I bought at birka, about five years ago from a GIbby Games.

Its called Epicus. I need to find out if anyone else in the world has this game as I need a copy of the directions. The company seems to be out of business as I have tried numerous times to contact them and for the past two years have received no response through teir website, email and phone..

I have this beautiful game and no clue in hell as to how to play it.

If anyone can lay their hands on a copy of the directions I will be indebted to them forever, and I figured if anyone knows enough people with games it would be you.
thanks

According to BoardGameGeek (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1734), at least 9 other people in the world own it. Try contacting one of them through that site to get a copy of the rules. It's a shame that GibbyGames still has a web presence but seems unresponsive.

Cool! thanks!

I hate having this nifty game and not having a clue how to play it. Especially after having spent so much money on it

I wish I could be there, so I could put in a vote for Neverwhere or the Prisoner. We have family coming (and an Aquarium trip on Sunday), so alas we won't be joining you.

I remember watching episodes of the Prisoner with the Carleton Science Fiction Society (aka "Who Club"), and getting hooked on the series.

I very much look forward to seeing Neverwhere...

The Prisoner is an excellent series (I must straddle the divide between the elder and younger halves of the Barony), and with th recent loss of P. McGoohan, a timely choice. But I'm a sucker for anything with Bruce Campbell, so I have to throw my vote for Bubba Ho-Tep.
