I read your post not long before bedtime, and my first thought was "we should organize that while Caleb is still around." He wouldn't be able to attend in person, so then we started wondering whether such an event could be attended by Skype. I have minimal technical knowledge - how does live streaming work? Could one disguise the necessary equipment (presumably that wouldn't be the biggest problem)? I spent some time lying awake, trying to think what it would take to organize an event on fairly short notice, and reminding myself that we couldn't make it be what it was, anyway. Patri is gone, Gyrth is gone, Marian is gone, and there is no way Harvard would let a student group have most of Memorial Hall (including Saunders Theater!) for cheap. Went back to sleep, woke up with "Gaudeamus Igitur" as an earworm.
