Blackmore's Night in Concert

I don't do many simple link posts here, but I know many of my DW friends would enjoy this: I just discovered that Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night -- the heart of the band Blackmore's Night -- did an online house concert recently.

For those who don't know them: he made his name with the band Deep Purple many years ago, and is brilliant at all things guitar-shaped; she's a great singer, and together they created the group, which is one of my favorite folk-rock bands.

I'm in the middle of listening to it, and it's a delightful little live album: the two of them chatting, doing songs (both ones I know well and new and off-beat stuff), talking about where their stuff comes from, and so on. Both of them being perfectionists, they managed to do a Facebook Watch Party at home, with nonetheless professional-grade acoustics. Well worth checking out...
