My feelings are somewhat more nuanced -- I think the Society has terrible institutional flaws, but I don't generally hold that against the people in charge. I'm still active enough that I find the membership somewhat worthwhile, if preposterously over-priced, and it helps me maintain a measure of moral high ground when I point out the flaws in the system.
