Kickstarter of the day: Sentris

mindways for the pointer to Sentris, one of the most Just Plain Innovative games I've seen in a while. It's a sort of music/puzzle game with a very simple core mechanic (dropping notes into a spinning pattern), and has the addictiveness of a really good puzzle game. You're basically "building" music as you play, and like many of my favorite instruments, it's hard to actually sound *bad* while doing so.
The author already has built a playable prototype, which you get for free when you back the game -- I've just spent ten minutes noodling with it, and it's rather fun. Not polished yet, of course, and the mechanics will need more tuning, but having "fun" this early in a project like this is promising.
She's only trying to raise $50k -- quite modest by game-development standards -- and is about 75% there. I'll actively encourage those who like music games to check this one out and back it: this is a good enough start that I'd love to see what she winds up with...
