Did you plan several months ahead to book 3 weeks out, or just decided to be globetrotters on a whim? And did you have plenty of choice of what you wanted, in general?
Mark wrote "A family with two kids could probably cope, but would be likely to trip over each other a bit." Reasonable assessment, but one of the things parents give up (usually) is that quaint concept called "personal space." I'm told it will return sometime after the teenage years.
