Fair 'nuff. Heaven knows, the server engine test harness I wrote for ASAP was a good deal more complex than the engine itself, involving several threads and a variety of simulators for other server processes. I never got 100% happy with it (mainly because the internal code for the harness was pretty hairy), but it was nice to be able to write tests that corresponded pretty exactly to what the end users were doing, so at least that top level was crystal clear in its intent...
