We haven't needed to worry about the snacks heretofore -- the cats simply haven't shown any interest in them. I shouldn't be surprised that the Slim Jims are an exception (especially since they *have* shown an interest in beef jerky), but it hadn't occurred to me that they would even notice it inside its plastic casing.
