When I log in, I walk backwards to the current bookmark
This is dangerous...I occasionally peruse older entries, because at least half of the interest (for me) of LJ is the comments, and to put a checkpoint at a particular point in my friends list means I miss comments on older posts...
At this point I'm mostly just relying on my browser highlighting and the "?nc=foo" options to keep me sane. ;-)
