Hmm. If it really does *nothing*, then the problem is likely that your browser has gotten into a bad state. This happens to me in Firefox occasionally -- as far as I can tell, if Javascript (the language that is used by some web pages) gets sufficiently hosed, it can foul up the entire browser such that clicking on links just does nothing for me.

OTOH, if you click on it and it starts fetching, but never goes away from the page (it hangs at "Waiting to connect" or something like that), it probably means that it's failing to contact the server. Given that the server in question is Google (which is pretty reliable), that most likely means some sort of filtering is getting in the way somewhere along the line...
