I saw Alegria some years ago, long before I ever picked up a hoop, so I'm not even sure I remember that act. Sounds like something I ought to try to catch again. Cirque is so inspirational, even knowing that mere mortals can never be close to that good. : )
the fabric (really bungee) dancer produced my usual reaction of, "that looks like so much *fun*!" I can only speak for non-elastic fabric, but yes, it is so much fun.
