jducoeurOkay, so I've gotten used to the idea that it's been a while, and that largely doesn't bother me.
But here's an aspect that's hard to wrap my head around: roughly half of all of the First Monday Evenings of the Month in my life have been spent at Baronial Great Council meetings. On the one hand, I kind of like Council -- the boring business meeting aspect aside, it's a good way to touch base with folks. But that's still just disturbing.
Of course, by the same token I've been to weekly Dance Practice in something like a third of all weeks in my life. But I can't find it in me to be bothered by that...
