Today, we finished clearing the leaves along the edge of the property. Granted, there are trees there, but they're the small trees, and it's just a small chunk of the terrain. 14 30-gallon bags of leaves, and it's not as if our yard is heavily forested. Add to that about 750 gallons' worth put out from the front yard, not to mention all the stuff down in the back glade that I'm just going to mulch, and I find myself with a new appreciation of the carbon-sucking power of trees...
