Continuing my desperate quest to catch up on back postings...

First off, may I just say that "Rabbits Threaten Viking Site" is a headline that produces some very strange images.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] mikekn for pointing out ToDoList, a scarily complete-looking list manager. I think I need this...

eBooks of the Day:

The Beginnings of New England, or, The Puritan Theocracy in its Relations to Civil and Religious Liberty (1889). I suspect that it's a bit of a rant, but much of the early book is dealing with SCA period.

Far more interesting: Library of the World's Great Literature, Ancient and Modern, v. II. I previously posted a link to volume I of this mammoth alphabetical tome. This volume runs from Amiel to Auerbach, and continues to have a lot of period literature in the middle. I particularly note excerpts from Aneurin; Anglo-Saxon Literature; Aquinas; Arabic Literature; Ariosto; Aristotle; and Ascham. Only bits and pieces, but some fairly interesting bits and pieces.
