Note to self: smelling the tacos that someone made for their lunch, while looking at the chocolate cake that someone else brought in to share with the office, produces the most revolting cognitive dissonance...

I dunno, there's something strangely enticing about a chocolate taco cake. Maybe with vanilla quacamole, sour-butter-cream, and butterscotch cheese.

I had a similar experience, making chocolate-chip cookies while keshwyn cooked a garlic-heavy dish. Gah.

(Not to mention inflicting such varieties of dissonance on various 'Fest players. But that was deliberate, so I'm not sure if it counts.)

I usually put cocoa in my chili, so the combination of spicy and chocolaty smells/flavours is perhaps not such an odd juxtaposition for me.

The other morning, when John was on his own for breakfast, he looked at the abscence of ham, etc, for our usual omlette, and then looked at the pickled herring. "It's meat!" he thought. Apparently it doesn't go well with omlettes.

Hmmm well if I was hungry that thought would have ruined it. . . however I'm sure Ive inflicted some of my coworkers with my own odd combonations or lunch choices. . . Oh yeah and chocolate cake never was a favorite. Tacos and then something like Strawbery cake though might be interesting
