Cookbook search

A little link-sharing -- a few days ago, I found out about the Medieval Cookbook Search site. This is a really delightful and simple resource: type in a search term, and it will look for that word in many of the online cookbooks, and return the recipes that it finds. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what I wanted last weekend when I was frantically looking for apple recipes for Cooks' Guild. (Unfortunately, I didn't find the site until two days later.)
It was originally focused on pre-1500, but he's allowing it to broaden a bit: he just added
msmemory's and my transcription of A Book of Cookrye (1591), for example. It's by no means comprehensive yet, but he's already got around 25 cookbooks there, and it's continuing to grow. So it's well worth sticking in your back pocket as a resource...
