Aug. 4th, 2004 06:10 pmThe Current Electoral Vote Predictor. Rather interesting site for politics-obsessives. This tries to keep track of all the latest polls, and shows in summary what they mean in terms of electoral votes. A very nice summary of the presidential horse race.
Innergeek. A fun, long, silly geek purity test, which actually manages to get a fair representation of the SCA in there. I scored 54.83235% -- just a hair short of Extreme Geek. I find myself oddly proud of this.

The truly scary part: "81.45957 - Dysfunctional Geek". Of course, I included all the things that I *used* to do, some of which I no longer do, but ...phew.

Date: 2004-08-05 05:35 am (UTC)That's why I think of it as a purity test -- in the classic purity-test style, it's easy to get some points, but to get a *lot*, you have to have preposterous "geek breadth".
Enterprise isn't on there, and that appears to be *gone* already...
Is it? I'd heard that Paramount had bribed the network to put out one more season. (So that they would have enough seasons in the can to be worth stripping.)
