jducoeur... is constantly getting to stretch my creative muscles. It costs me sleep, but it's remarkably energizing anyway.
Last night's brainstorm was the Veil of Privacy, to deal with Querki's interesting access-control problems. We need to be able to deal with data with very mixed access controls, giving easy mechanisms to show the data you want but preventing you from accidentally giving away private information.
The realization was that I need row-level access control built into not just the data but the query language, and I think I have a nicely simple and elegant design for dealing with that. I'll undoubtedly burble about that later on the Querki development blog, but if anybody curious now, you can see the current brainstorm on the Querki wiki...
