Tam Lin, Revisited

ladysprite is perhaps my very favorite writer of short-form essays and fiction, combining a clever sense of humor with fine writing. Her latest is a great example, and well worth reading -- check out her Tam Lin, Revisited, which manages to somehow combine a story and a voice that I would *never* have expected together, totally sells it, and still stays true enough to the source material that I could hear the Steeleye Span rendition in my head while reading it. Great fun...
