Filk on NPR

For those who are interested: I found out from Avelina last night that WBUR's online project "Stylus" recently did a segment on filksinging, including some bits recorded at Arisia this year. It's decently accurate, and even reflects the disagreements about the definition of "filk". I'm in it briefly around the 7-minute mark (embarrassingly unsteady on my lyrics, doing the beginning of "The Scotsman Song Song"), as are lots of other folks. Check it out.
And oh, yes -- as you can tell from the above link, I'm in the middle of transcribing my songbook into Querki. That was actually inspired by the filksing in question -- I realized that I really need a better way to keep track of all those songs, and I do have a good tool for the job...
