I just noticed something really subtle (yes: listening again).

When she starts her vocal (and notice: she subtly restarts the percussion) she is using software to automatically double her voice an octave lower.

It sounds so rich, because it has a bass track.

Ah -- I was wondering where that bass line was coming from. (I had originally assumed it was from the keyboard, and I'd just missed it the first time around.)

Very cool. Live looping has revolutionized the solo vocal performer. I see it all over the place in a cappella now, allowing solo a cappella performers to go live.
