Spirit Island on tablets

Since as far as I can tell, most people haven't noticed, let's spread the word: the board game Spirit Island (which I know many of my friends enjoy) is now available for tablets. I downloaded and installed it from the Google Play Store this evening, and have played a bit of it, and it's delightful to get to play again and get a bit of practice in, before we get back to being able to play together in person. Bah. "Not compatible" with either my Kindle Fire tablet or phone.

Happens, sadly -- the Android ecosystem is relatively fragmented. Dunno if it's an OD version problem, or something locked-down at the Fire level, or what. Sorry to hear it, though...

None of the various descriptions online make it clear – is this an "everyone plays on their own tablet" thing or a "pass the tablet around" thing? I've seen both in the tablet adaptation world. The latter's mostly useful for "group of friends on vacation together" in my experience...

I think it's "pass the tablet around" -- at least, I haven't come across an online-multiplayer mode in my very cursory look. (I'm just playing it by myself so far.)
