Remember when people rang the doorbell? (Actually, somebody still does -- didn't notice which shipper it was, but we got a package yesterday and the doorbell alerted us before the email came.)

Date: 2022-01-18 04:00 am (UTC)UPS is great -- they send me excellent email notifications, and the delivery guy usually rings the bell. (Indeed, by now he knows everybody in the house by name.)
But Amazon generally just drops and runs, and Fedex is just an unpredictable disaster in my experience...
