Grr. I don't completely mind HostCentric moving to a new hosting system (the existing one was clunky by modern standards), but they could have given me more notice that the new model was going to break all my Perl scripts. And now I can't seem to SSH into my system. I'm going to be very cross (and looking for a new ISP) if I discover that they've removed login access to the websites...

If you find a need for a new host, allow me to recommend dreamhost (http://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?laurion), as they have a great combination of price, bells and whistles, basic features, and useful staff. Good luck either way.

Thanks. Inertia has kept me in place so far, and I'm giving them the two weeks they're asking for to get everything reassembled into the new form before I make any decisions. But they're definitely on probation, especially since the price is higher than I really need to be paying...
