Jahe Wangi

The one comfort of a cold is that it reminds me of the virtues of my favorite tea. Jahe Wangi comes from the oriental grocery, and isn't Your Grandmother's Tea -- this is real he-man tea, made of ground ginger, cane sugar, and "herbal extract". It's Indonesian, and when made strong is intense enough to burn through pretty much whatever ails you. Yum.

Besides, the name brings out my inner Hobbes. I don't actually know how it's supposed to be pronounced, but I instinctively say it "Yah-hey Wongie", which is one of those delightfully odd phrases on the tongue...

I don't suppose I could get some from you and reimburse you at Crossroads?
