Oh, bloody hell...

We just discovered that we apparently missed recording the final three hours of this season of 24. Given the freight-train nature of the plot at this point, I'm rather unhappy about the prospect of having to wait a couple of months until the remaining episodes come around on reruns. Anyone have a copy we can borrow?

Ah -- hadn't thought about that; I didn't realize anyone except ABC was doing this yet. Actually not a bad solution: I approve in principle of the idea of selling episodes, and I've got an iTunes account. Only issue is figuring out how to get it through to the TV set, but that ought to be possible. (And worse comes to worst, we can watch on msmemory's big laptop.)

I think you'll be surprised when you go to the TV shows area of iTunes -- lots of networks have jumped on the bandwagon. I have both seasons of Lost and both seasons of Numb3rs from iTunes, and I love watching them that way. After a year and a half of watching TV on DVDs, I find that having to wait a week between episodes and deal with commercials very distracting. (Also, with Lost, it's easier to keep up with all the mysteries. Otherwise I'd have to take notes!)
