Conservation of Productivity

So the cold is making its gradual progression down my body, from head down into chest. (With the result that, although I sound like death warmed over, I'm feeling slightly better as my sinuses begin to allow my brain a little room for maneuver.) The cough is, in the medical lexicon, being rather "productive". Which probably explains why I can't get anything done today -- the cough is using up all the productivity I have...
