Name some good technology feeds

As I gradually adjust to life as an official "Systems Architect", I've decided that keeping up with the tech news is now really part of my job, not just a sideline. But there's so much of it out there that it's easy to drown in it, and never get any work done.
So I'm looking for input: what are the blogs and other news sources I *should* be reading? My interests and needs here are pretty broad: technology advances, major business news, tech and culture -- all of that as it relates to the online world, especially the realtime side of it. Stuff relating to identity management is a plus. Conciseness is crucial, since I can't spend a lot of time on this each day. RSS feeds are essential: I'm aggregating this into my Google Desktop and reading it that way each morning, skimming the headlines and diving into the more interesting articles.
So what are you following? I've got about 15 or so reasonably good feeds so far (a surprising number of them from ZDNet, which turns out to have a bunch of good tech-focused bloggers), but there's room to improve the mix...

A few suggestions.
Date: 2007-01-17 04:18 pm (UTC)Lambda the Ultimate (http://lambda-the-ultimate.org/) is a Programming weblog, leaning heavily towards academically-oriented programming concepts.
I really have come to enjoy Ars Technica's (http://arstechnica.com/) reporting; they've grown far out of the "Tom's Hardware"-esqe niche they origianlly filled, and cover just about every aspect of the tech world with insightful articles.
I'm going to put in a plug for Creating Passionate Users (http://headrush.typepad.com/creating_passionate_users/), from one of the writers of the HEAD FIRST series. It's not really about tech, it's about presenting tech to users, and her articles are chock-full of useful ideas on everything from writing documentation to presentations to user interfaces.

Reddit; it's not a blog, nor purely technical (it does have subcategories), but it catches some good stuff anyway.
What have you got so far?

Date: 2007-01-17 08:39 pm (UTC)From ZDNet:
All about Microsoft -- Mary Jo Foley, probably the focused outsider keeping an eye on M$. Takes a nicely neutral stance, neither viewing them as The Best Software Company nor as The Eeeevil, but simply as a fact of life.
Between the Lines -- Various interesting tidbits. In particular, a good daily-or-so roundup of links.
Digital Markets -- the business and marketing side of the equation. Interesting and different, but a little rabidly anti-Google.
Ed Burnette's Dev Connection -- useful insights into what's New and Different on the tools side.
Googling Google -- news specifically about that *other* giant company.
IP Telephony, VoIP, Broadband -- pretty much what the name implies.
Others:
GigaOM -- interesting tech news, although still on probation. May prove to be too fluffy.
Joel on Software -- sometimes insightful, sometimes just annoying. Haven't decided whether he's worth reading regularly.
New Scientist headlines -- not quite as immediately useful, but often fascinating.
ScottGu's blog -- from Microsoft: one of their lead tech managers, who has lots of nuts-and-bolts useful information about getting along with Borg tech.
Those are probably the most interesting. There are others on the list, but they're either very low-volume, less on-topic, or simply likely to be cut...
