24 written, 3 to go. Still behind, but not quite as much so as I feared. Some of the characters are shorter than others, but that's probably okay. I have to keep telling myself that a character sheet that's only two pages long, with ten contacts and connections to four plots, is not usually considered a weak character...

Well, he's shorter than most, anyway. But Dingbot Prime and Artie are both smaller than he is -- he's a *big* cat...

Can I just say I've finished and emailed out all of my 32 sheets.

Longest is 4 and a bit pages, shortest just under 3, which includes goals. I think everyone has at least 6 goals.

I am rather pleased with myself I must say!

Nicely done! Sounds like you're a bit ahead of me in all respects. I'm afraid I'm not up at six goals each, although there are probably at least four implicit per sheet. (It's kind of hard for me to count goals -- I tend to be a little less explicit about them than many writers, although I try to make sure that the sheet provides a reasonable number of directions to go in...)

I think a good character sheet can be one sentence long. The trick is making it the right sentence, and that usually takes three pages. I like four goal and 4 contacts, personally, but have slacked with three.

And I haven't mailed my sheets out yet either. I am currently hoping to before the end of this week.

I've only ever had one one-sentence character, but it did work surprisingly well. It was Future of Oz I. The character was something like "You are Santa Claus". The player took that and *ran* with it -- saved the game, actually. Nothing like a good player...

To be fair, he also had a kick-ass Special Ability, which provided a pretty clear direction of what he could and should be doing :-)
