To our avian neighbors

Guys, I understand the whole "catches the worm" thing. And I appreciate the protestant work ethic of it all, really I do.
But c'mon -- 3:30am is a little early to begin with the gamboling-loudly-in-the-treetops. Birdsong is lovely to wake up to, but not right smack in the middle of the night. That's not just "a little before dawn": that's off by a timezone or two. I really think the little birdie alarm clocks need a little adjustment.
Sincerely,
The mammalian neighbors

Date: 2008-05-20 02:29 pm (UTC)According to weather underground, astronomical twilight around here was at 3:16 this morning, and nautical twilight was at 4:03. It's not shocking that the birds would notice it sometime between these points.
