Reminder to self: when xkcd talks about Googling something, actually doing so can lead to more information than you really wanted to know...

ETA: Following the resulting Google link to Wikipedia is merely informative and nasty. I gather that following links further than that are not merely not-work-safe, but likely to produce actual psychic trauma...

Didn't get the joke. Never heard the expression.

Guess, I will just leave it at that, then.

From everything I've heard, I think you're wise to keep far, far away, friend.

Me, neither. However, given horrified expressions of my friends, I think I will also avoid google right now.

What's scary is that "2.girls.1.cup" is already in the top four suggested completions in Firefox's "search using Google" widget by the time I've typed "2.g"

Edit: Warning: Having now followed the first and presumably least offensive of the google hits on that search, my advice to everyone else is: You don't want to know.

I was lucky. I saw the comments in the LJ feed, and went to the Wikipedia page instead.

Still an awful image, but limited to a text description.

Some day, I will learn to resist the temptation to understand obscure XKCD jokes...

Were there any interesting results for "should(not) have kissed him/her"?

....

See, and without this post, and the comments to this post, I could have lived in happy, blissful ignorace.

BUT NO. My TWS is SO HIGHLY TUNED that as soon as anyone said "Oh, good lord, YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW" my subconcious goes "NONOMUSTKNOWMUSTKNOWNOW."

Thanks.

Wow, you can find a lot of crap on the internet.

The description on wikipedia creates a weird overkill reaction. It could have gone on to say, "Then they cut off each other's left arms and burn them on an alter to Baal. Then they place the ashes and freebase them, after which they each give birth to twins who look like Alexander Hamilton, who all get shot by Aaron Burr. The twins are then used as slippers while the women subject themselves to a Baywatch marathon." At some point, my mind defended itself with Terry Gilliam style animation...
