A bit of signal amplification: Wyrd Enterprises has just moved online, and put up the full contents of their radio play The Fantastic Fate of Frederick Farnsworth the Fifth. This is a fine piece of silliness, starring a bunch of Carolingians, recorded a few years ago. Worth listening to and dropping a donation into the bucket. (I've got the CD editions.)

I seem to recall a year or two ago, you posted about some neat online classes you were taking ( may have been someone else. )
If that was you, what was the name of the school?

That would be The Teaching Company. It's not a school per se; rather, they hire popular college professors from all over the country to record courses in their subjects of specialty. They cover a wide range of subjects, but are particularly strong in history.

Some courses are audio only, some (particularly the science courses) video only, some are in both formats; personally, I focus on the audio courses, which are good for commuting. They've also recently started having courses available in MP3 download, a bit cheaper than the hardcopy versions.

Highly recommended -- I've done many of their courses over the years...
