Since I know that at least one of my friends is doing some serious iPhone hacking, I thought I should pass this on: Ed Burnette, whose blog I follow loosely, is currently running a five-part series of articles on iPhone programming. I doubt it's terribly deep -- he's essentially posting his notes as he takes a class on the subject -- but it might be interesting and useful to those who are getting into the subject...
