The little joys

I'm not sure how to explain the simple joy that I get from sending an IM and getting back the message "Hello, world!". (Especially when I only started a couple of hours ago.) It's a delightful change of pace when systems integration does *not* suck...

Wow, that's nostalgic. That brought me all the way back to my C++ class in high school. "Hello world!" and my bright flashes of color streaming across the screen before it all went black on 2 computers and then the teacher's computer. O:)
