Note for the future: the combination of 1 part bourbon to 3 parts strong ginger ale (which recipe was placed in my head by one of my friends' LJs, plus the presence of Blenheim in the house) is a frighteningly efficient way to get blitzed, possibly even moreso than the Long Island Lemonade. More recently I saw that Old Mr. Boston's lists that as a Jamaican Mule. Which I guess makes more sense, since it's more commonly a source for all the ingredients.

Hunh. We made it up and Ruby named it (based off of a 'Moscow Mule' -- vodka, twist of lime, and ginger ale). The difference between ginger beer and ginger ale is significant in masking the potency of these drinks.
