SCA Story followup

A quick followup to my entry the other day, about the student-reporter's article on the SCA: several people responded that they would like a copy, but didn't include their email address, or only gave an LJ address. Don't assume that I have your address readily to hand -- I do in some cases, but don't in a bunch of others. And LJ, last I checked, usually strips attachments, so your LJ address probably isn't useful.

So please: send me an email (jducoeur at gmail, or something like that) with an email address that definitely takes attachments. Thanks! I'll start sending copies out to the addresses I do have shortly...

Wait... really? I'm pretty sure I've successfully received attachments through my LJ address. Is this a paid user feature or something?

Hmm. It's possible that I'm simply incorrect. I don't use LJ-mail all that often, and at least once in the not-too-distant past gotten a mail that was missing its attachment, so I had attributed that to LJ. (Since that's not very unusual for mail-forwarding systems.) But heaven knows there are plenty of other possible sources of that particular problem, so I may have made a false assumption.

(I have a permanent account, so if it works for paid users, it should work for me...)
