The Turkey Inspector Has Spoken

jducoeurSo our traditional post-Thanksgiving dish is Turkey Chili. It having been a couple of weeks, though, we had to make sure that the leftover turkey was still good. Fortunately, we have an extremely practiced and acute nose available to us.
So a 1/4 lb tithe to the feline gods (well, to Merlin, anyway) has produced a verdict that yes, the turkey is still perfectly fine and can he have some more now? We are reminded also of the sheer scrubbing power of the cat tongue -- I'm not sure that it's possible to clean the plate any cleaner than he did. I think it's clear that the cats appreciate Thanksgiving at least as much as we do...
