Okay, these results are almost surprisingly unsurprising...

Here are [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur's most trusted friends (that is, the friends who have the most friends in common with me):Who are your most trusted friends?

Here are [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur's least trusted friends (that is, the friends who have the least friends in common with me):Who are your least trusted friends?

Here are [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur's most trusted nonfriends (that is, the people who have enough links in common that I probably ought to get around to adding them, especially since I know almost all of them):Who are your most trusted nonfriends?

And I'm not bothering with the utterly pointless "least trusted nonfriends", which appears to be a random selection from the thousands of people who are only linked by one edge...

Now I'm conniving about writing the "most incestuous subsets near you" thing, which calculates the people in the most-fully-connected subset of your friends...

The problem is that, without some clever flooding algorithm, I'm pretty sure this becomes NP, on the order of 2^(# friends). Oy.

Have you read the short story "Antibodies" by Charles Stross? It's a nifty little techno-thriller that gets set off by the (apparent) discovery that NP is in P. [Stross is my latest "recommend to all my SF reading friends" author.]

Rather appropriate that you're "evil twin" falls into the "least trusted" category! :D I understand what they're trying to do, I don't know if 'trusted' is the right word. It carries more connotations than they mean.

Indeed. As I noted when I first saw this meme, they claim that my *wife* is not well trusted by me!

Apparently, I am somewhere in the middle.
