jducoeurI just came across FlexWiki, which is the semi-official .NET wiki system. This seems to be a semi-Microsoft project -- freeware open source, which Microsoft is promulgating mainly because it's .NET based.
Not half bad: looks nice, and apparently decently easy to use. Presumably has all the environmental requirements one would expect of a .NET system, although it would be interesting to see if it runs in a Mono environment. Looks to be entirely written in C#, which is an improvement from my POV. (Having just spent the past few weeks reminding myself of what a pain in the butt Perl is.) Has a couple of features missing from UseMod, but is missing others. (In particular, I don't see any indication that it has Free Links, a feature I am deeply fond of.)
Most interestingly, it does have a concept of properties and queries, and a built-in programming language called WikiTalk. The simple query capability looks rather more rudimentary than the one in ProWiki, but the programming language might actually make it more powerful if you put in some work. I'm going to have to look into this closely. While I'm loathe to jump ship after putting a great deal of work into ProWiki, I also don't want to hold myself back if there's something better on offer. At the least, I should look for good ideas to steal...
